Changes and Challenges

Although old news now that is February, I’ll quickly to catch you up to speed…our first married holidays were wonderful! It was exciting to experience some completely new traditions of Seth’s family as well as introduce him to a few of mine. We were able to spend so much time with family both here and out of town. Here’s a few pictures from our holidays.                A few weeks ago we also decided to invite both our... Read More

GRACE TO YOU AND PEACE

I had the pleasure of sharing my testimony and talking about my ministry at a dear friend’s hometown church this Sunday night.  I was nervous because I do not do a lot of speaking, and I wasn’t sure how the message the Lord laid on my heart would be received.  But let me tell you this…my fellow believers at this church exemplified God’s grace and modeled how the church is unified together by the Spirit as one body! When I was called into this ministry I was made aware of my responsibility... Read More

Isaac Children's Home - February News

Lunar New Year is Here!     Our real new year is a lunar new year here in Korea. One tradition we have is kids bow down out of respect and receive a gift from the dorm mothers and Mrs. Noh! This is a very exciting tradition for them. All the kids have different hopes for the new year, but we all hope that we can be happy and healthy. Please continue praying for all of us at Isaac's Children's Home this new year!   Happy New Year to all our supporters and friends!... Read More

Adventures

Well, this has been a very Happy New Year so far. We have started out on a few new adventures and it has truly been enjoyable. First, Gustavo got his first report card of his senior year! We were all nervous (I think he was the one who was most nervous), but he got an average of 90%! I would love to break it down for you, but seeing as he is taking 19 classes (Yes…19!), it would take a while. The Ministry of Education here requires that every student take a ridiculous number of... Read More

Fresh Thoughts on Revelation 5:9

After being in and around the missions industry for over 30 years now, I’ve heard dozens of sermons on Rev. 5:9 and how we need to do more to reach every tribe, language, people, and nation with the Gospel story. I’ve even preached that message a time or two! It’s a great message full of truth, and I don’t mind hearing it again and again. Imagining the great throng of worshipers on that glorious day who are representing so many thousands of people groups always bring a tear to my eye. Our... Read More

Samuel's Sanctuary - January News

1. Dino had the opportunity to preach at the Dellinger's church on several occasions, and also at a children's retreat on the property where 3 children prayed to receive Christ.            2. On New Year’s Day, we joined the Dellingers’ church on the property for a half-day of fasting and prayer, followed by a Tamale feast.              3. God called and set apart a young man... Read More

Miracles in Belize

After college, I had all kinds of dreams of what my life would be like, but in my early 20’s I began to have debilitating symptoms: extreme weakness, paralysis, severe pain, insomnia, etc. My mom had struggled with the same symptoms for the last 20 years with no diagnosis. We went to dozens of doctors and had every test imaginable with no answers. I decided to do my own research and became convinced that I knew what we had. Tests soon confirmed that we both had Late Stage Lyme Disease. The... Read More

Where in the World are Dino & Melissa??

Twenty years ago on a family camping trip to Arkansas, God convicted us to step out in faith and go to Mexico to start a training center for missionaries. That dream was put on hold when Melissa nearly died in Mexico on one of our many trips to show the Jesus Film. Through the years we’ve moved various places searching for the best doctors, treatments, and environment for Melissa’s health. I’ve continued to minister as much as possible while still continuing to work full-time. About 5 years... Read More

La Aljaba - January News

Thank You! To all those who were with us in this purpose of reaching the children in need for the Lord, to those who give, pray, visit us, or have worked in different ways, to those who love us and show us the love of Jesus, may the Lord bless you in all you do and want to do. With your support here are some things that you made possible...   Our children praise the Lord; they are happy and have grown healthy in every way. The Lord has provided support in keeping up with... Read More
