Serving through Giving

Needs of the Children

Almost every orphanage in developing nations has physical needs. Dorms are often overcrowded. In many cases, kitchens are not equipped to prepare the amount of food a dorm full of children can consume. Some locations have transportation needs. The list of needs seems endless.

Orphanos provides monetary grants to meet these needs. These grants are always given with the stipulation that there be no credit to Orphanos (e.g., no commemorative plaques, statues, etc.), but that public recognition of the gift must be credited to the Lord Jesus. We know that it is He who has provided the gift, and it is He who should receive the love and adoration of the children.

Through Orphanos, God has provided financial resources for projects ranging from dormitory construction, kitchen construction, land purchases, economic development projects, Christmas presents, and more. All of these gifts were given in the name of Jesus Christ, and were given to Christian owned and operated orphanages in underdeveloped settings outside the United States.

An Opportunity to Serve

These needs are another opportunity for you to serve the children. We ask first for your prayers for the children. Prayer is the vehicle by which God enjoys making things happen. Secondly, we ask for your joyful financial assistance. Please only give what you can with a joyful heart (2 Cor. 9:6-7).

One of our desires is to connect you with opportunities to serve others. One way we do this is by informing you of needs and providing means to share your resources toward those needs about which God moves you to respond.
