One of our children, Isaiah, had an accident at his aunt's house a few weeks ago. He fell from a tree and hit his head. He was unconscious and has been in the ICU for a week. Finally we saw the hand of the Lord on him. He is now in Bogota where he is receiving more extensive medical treatment including a TAC test. Since arriving in Bogota, he has been recovering very quickly. His first test came back with good results and he is waiting for a second one which will be done very soon. We are waiting and praying to the Lord for His complete healing. We know, and Isaiah too, that there are many friends praying for him.

I do not always understand why the Lord blesses us, but am very thankful for this new place He gave us to show his love. We now have a really beautiful house that we can use to expand and develop our work while we are waiting to move from our current facilities. Recently, the government approached us about a new project because they liked the work we have been doing with the younger children. They are providing the funding for us to expand our work to include poor teenagers in the area. We are excited to provide work for them and help prepare them to serve the Lord. This project will include some of the older children currently at La Aljaba as well as other teenagers in the community. We will be giving them training in subjects according to their age. In order to do this, we will need to renovate the upstairs room of this new building. We will need to create some transitional rooms, build bunk beds, add bathrooms, and cover the floor so it is not just cement. Later we will need computers, mattresses, fans, kitchen equipment and of course we need to assure the monthly payment of the rent.

I highly appreciate your prayers for:
- Isaiah, that the Lord gives him complete restoration.
- That the Lord provides for all our needs in the new facilities.
- Praise to the Lord for giving us this beautiful and big building.
- That the Lord gives us wisdom and His grace continues being in our ministry to the children.
