Construction
I (Grace) was blessed to be there at Lar for a few months and see the inside story of the construction of the guesthouse. It is so amazing to see all that it takes to build something that big, and the technology and expertise that we are putting into the building. If you consider the amount of money spent so far, it is an even more amazing thing. God has blessed us with good exchange rates and a lot was done with the resources that God gave us.
The next step for us regarding construction involves a lot of work from Theresa Maly and myself. Theresa is in the US for a while and she will be helping me come up with an action plan to accomplish this construction.
We have been greatly blessed with resources, labor, volunteers and a lot of prayers to get this far, now we are going to need even more help to finish the project.
Who can participate: Churches, Sunday school classes, companies, sport teams, families and individuals can sponsor a room and we will be able to finish the building. Basically anyone who is willing and able to be a blessing to Lar at this point
The credit: We do not offer you a plaque with your name on the wall or even your picture on a frame, but we will sure lift you up before the Lord daily. We believe that all the glory should be given to God and that is what we will do. He uses His people to bless us and help us finish this project.
The cost: It will cost $3,500 to finish a room with everything from bathroom fixtures to the bed spread and the key chain! There are 14 rooms to be finished.
The deadline: We would like to finish this building by January 2005.
