Who We Are
Our Mission
To extend the blessing of a family to as many orphan children as possible, giving them an opportunity to be loved and cared for in a manner worthy of our Lord. To raise children who are used to be called the rejects of society, and help them become part of the solution of the problems affecting children in our country. To raise the children that God entrusts to us in a faith-based, Christ-centered manner. To give a home to as many children as possible, who don't have any survival condition, even among their family, providing them all necessary assistance, even educational, until they become able to fend for themselves and help others.
How is Lar Batista staffed?
Over the years, Lar Batista has been able to train their older children to do the work that needs to be done in our home. We have no hired help. Teenagers take turns learning the different tasks of the house and by the time they are young adults, they are able to take care of a house, or younger children. Their involvement in the housework does not interfere in their studies.
