Before planning a trip, we want to make sure you know...

 

WHO WE ARE

Here at Orphanos our mission is to glorify Jesus Christ and serve His purposes on earth by concentrating, in His name, on meeting the needs of children in the world, with a particular emphasis on orphaned children.

To do this, we collaborate with orphanages around the world to connect them with culturally appropriate ministry and provide for their needs. In addition, we offer resources for continually improving the work they do, and encourage those committed to the homes and children.

 

HOW YOU FIT IN

We hope to connect you with our partner orphanages in order to provide you with opportunities that enable you to live out James 1:27, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

Orphanos exists to impact children’s lives for Christ by effectively using the resources God provides. So to the glory of God and for the advancement of His Kingdom, we commit ourselves to providing short-term mission opportunities that (1) are facilitated with excellence during the process trilogy, (2) provide mutually beneficial relationships within the participant trilogy that engages them to actively pursue kingdom purposes, and (3) accomplish meaningful ministry on-field for the children of the world. Through this process we hope to ultimately inspire lasting change in the mindset and worldview creating servant leaders of all participants.

 

Our Goal for You

1. encourage you to pursue a deepening, personal relationship with Jesus Christ,

2. facilitate an understanding of God’s eternal purpose and your role in it,

3. illuminate God’s divine beauty as expressed through different cultures of the world,

4. educate on the plight of children at risk and God’s heart for them,

5. provide exposure to future ministry options among children at risk, and

6. provide an opportunity for experience in ministry to children at risk.
