Dulce Refugio (Aguascalientes, Mexico)
  • Three new washing machines and 1 industrial washer - $5,000
  • Office Furniture: desks, chairs, photocopier, fax, and more - $5,000

Isaac Children's Home (South Korea)

La Aljaba (Leticia, Colombia)

Lar Tia Edna (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
  • Repairs to the house (dorms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, laundry room, roof) - $8,000
  • New Van to replace the worn out 8 passenger mini-van with a larger capacity newer model- $30,000
  • Medical Expenses - $5,000, per year
  • Special needs children's school and therapy - $16,000 (for more details please visit the LTE website)
  • Monthly expenses (water, utilities, property tax) $29,900 per year
  • Kitchen Appliances and Utensils $3,000

Samuel's Sanctuary (Belmopan, Belize)
The most urgent priorities are numbered below:
  1. Plumbing to all buildings, plumbing to septics, and pressure pumps: $2,000
  2. Generator to help with power outages: $1,000
  3. BY JUNE 17th, the Roselands need a pre-fab house to accommodate teams: $8,000-10,000
  4. Caretaker salary for security and help: $500 per month

  • Well for drinking water and rain catch back-up during dry season: $6,000
  • Tiles for 3 Buildings: $3,000
  • Paint for 3 Buildings: $500
  • 2 Rain Catches: $350
  • 15 bunk beds: $3,000
  • 30 mattresses: $3,000
  • Linens (sheets, mattress covers, towels, shower curtains): $1,500
  • Tables and benches for dining hall: $1,200
  • Kitchen cabinets and storage: $900
  • Appliances (stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer): $2,000
  • Extra bathroom in dorm (wall, door, fixtures, plumbing materials, labor): $1,000
All other costs involving the running of the property (labor, water, electric, food) are currently being covered by the Roseland family. Initial set-up will accommodate staff, interns, and short-term mission teams scheduled for summer 2012.

  • Future Needs - Remainder of the purchase price of the property to be paid in lump sums over the next 5 years - $168,750
We are working towards residency status as well as certification to run the Children’s Home. Belize Government requires a potential Children’s Home be completely ready before certification. Once certified, we will need to purchase additional beds and furniture to accommodate the children.

Past Projects Funded
  • Someone gave $240 for new pillows at La Aljaba.
  • Someone gave $500 to help buy new computers at ICH.
  • Someone gave $4000 to Lar Batista for milking machines.
  • Through a grant request Robin's Nest was able to complete Jake's House, which is home to two missionary families as well as a dormitory space for some of the children. - $30,000
  • Through a grant request It's About Jungle Kids was able to purchase a Steel structure for the first floor of the new home – US$ 5,000, purchase Foundation to bear the structure of the second floor – US$ 6,000, and also purchase a Commercial refrigerator for the existing home - $1,500.00.
  • Through a grant request Lar Batista was able to repair the orphanage parents' roof - $3,000
  • Someone gave $1000 to provide food for a poor community in Leticia.
  • Someone gave $150 for new dishes and food trays at La Aljaba.
  • $1500 was given to repair the orphanage vehicle at La Aljaba.
  • $2000 was given to help with the medical needs at Lar Tia Edna.
  • $1000 was given to help with the medical needs at Lar Batista.
  • A Church gave $4,030 to repair the laundry room at Lar Batista.
  • Through a grant request Dulce Refuigo was able to buy 3 tables (2 full size and one half size), 100 steel chairs for the dining room, and 100 steel chairs for the worship room. - $2,625
  • Through a grant request Lar Batista Biblico was able to repair damage to the orphanage parents' house that was caused by straight line winds. - $3,000
  • Through a grant request a new stove was provided at La Aljaba to help them better serve the 75 children they feed 2 times a day. - $1000
  • Through a grant request Lar Tia Edna was able to repair the exhaust system on their van and install a speedometer. - $2,400
  • Through a grant request Orphanos was able to partner with Bott Radio Network and receive weekly air time to promote prayer for the ministry and also send the station manager to visit La Aljaba. While the station manager was visiting La Aljaba they were blessed to have a live broadcast from the home. - $3,000
  • Through a grant request and help from other churches that support Lar Batista, the home was able to remodel and repair the boys' dorm. - $5000
  • Someone read online about the need for 2 computers at our partner home in Colombia and gave $1800.
  • God provided complete funding for the roof repair at La Aljaba in Colombia. - $5,307
  • Someone went on a short term mission to La Aljaba in Colombia and gave $10,000 for a new or used Land Rover to get around the muddy roads in the Amazon.
  • Someone knew that Lar Batista in Brazil needed $30,000 for farm land and gave for this need. Now the children grow or raise 50% of what they eat themselves. The children give away the excess to provide for the poor and widows in their own community. Dry your eyes and celebrate a gift that multiplies!
  • Someone went on a short term mission to Korea and gave the kids at the Isaac Children's Home $5,000 for a playground with slides and swings as nice as any in America for the 100 children in the home.

God has allowed us to provide for the needs of children since 1997. From the beginning God has given funds through individuals, families, churches, schools, businesses, and many more to meet needs like you have read above. If we listed them all here the list would keep going. The list above are recent gifts and hopefully encourage you that God is providing through our friends to meet the needs of the children.
